New Online Banking Enhancement FAQ's

Secure Messaging is a new feature that The First National Bank of Long Island has added an extra value to our Retail Online Banking product (FirstLink) to enhance the customer service experience for our new and existing customers.

What is Secure Messaging?
Secure Messaging is a way The First National Bank of Long Island can verify you as a customer and is able to answer requests and/or questions that you may have about your account(s) directly via the internet.

How do I access Secure Messaging?
Once you logon to your online banking account you will see the icon on the left side of the screen. Click on the icon () and it will take you to your Message Center Inbox. Here is where you can create or view a message.

How do I create a Secure Message?
Once in our Message Center Inbox click the icon. This will enable you to create a new message. Choose a subject that is related to the request or question and provide detailed information. Once the message is sent you will receive a reply within 24 hours.

How do I view a Secure Message?
Once you logon to your online banking account you will see a notification on the left side of screen that will indicate if there are any new messages in your Message Center Inbox. Click on the icon and it will take you to your inbox where you can view your new message(s).
